Tuesday 27th of March… a day to be remembered by our Learning Support Zone students who went for an outing to Kuncizzjoni limits of Rabat. The day started off with a walk along the surroundings of the Kuncizzjoni chapel where students had the opportunity to admire the wonderful views of our Maltese Islands. We arrived back near the chapel where students had a bbq. All food was cooked by our students who did a wonderful job! Afterwards we had some races and went for another short walk.
Aims of such outings include:
- Working together as a team and learn about the importance of working together to achieve more;
- Improving their management and organisational skills through planning, organizing, target setting and mental strength due to perseverance, determination and adaptability to change;
- Becoming aware of different ways how one can enjoy his/her free time or relax in a positive way.
Outings in the outside environment helps to instill health, well being and positive attitudes. Special thanks go to the Headmaster and SMT for their constant support, for all the students, teachers, LSEs and our college youth worker for joining us during this outing and for their full support!
